Active ingredients

Cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa wild) is a plant from the ruby family (Rubiaceae), also known as "uña de gato"; or cat's claw, due to the hook-like shape of its spines, which allow the plant to cling and lean on nearby trees that grow upwards in search of light. It is known for its immunostimulant, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties, and is useful against infections..

Salvia officinalis

Sage is a plant from the Labiatae or Lamiaceae family (same as thyme and mint), native to the Middle East and the Mediterranean, but today it is spread almost all over the world.

Sage is well known and used in the kitchen for flavoring dishes because of its

  • anti-inflammatory,
  • antiseptic,
  • digestive,
  • diuretics,
  • healing

properties also known as a medicine in folk medicine.

ts name comes from the word salvus, which means healthy, because of the healthy properties attributed to the plant.

In folk medicine, due to its galactofugal action, it is used to facilitate the weaning of puppies.

Its use makes the taste of breast milk more unpleasant and reduces its production.

Sage for indigestion

As already mentioned, due to its choleretic properties, sage can be considered a valid aid in the prevention of indigestion and can also be useful in case of loss of appetite.

Cynara scolymus

Cynara scolymus or artichoke. The drug of this herbaceous plant, biennial or perennial, consists of leaves, especially those of the first year.
Artichoke is used in digestive, depurative and aperitif herbal preparations.
